There is nothing more romantic than a Longwood Gardens engagement photography session. Stephanie and John drove about an hour to meet me there. It is the perfect place for a shoot because there is so much variety. The only issue is that their summer hours don’t start until July, which means they close at 6pm, just before the “golden hour”. Stephanie and John and I decided to take a chance and head over to Anson B. Nixon Park in Kennett Square once Longwood closed. It ended up being a great location with fields, woods, and a couple of ponds. I really enjoyed spending the evening with these two. John originally had said he was going to be awkward the whole time. He was the one that I think had the most fun and came up with awesome poses! What I didn’t even notice until I looked back at the photos was that the day that we shot marked the 1 year countdown until their wedding. I wish these two all the best in planning their Florida Keys wedding! Please enjoy more engagement photos here!
