Eilis and Ferdinand’s Stirling Guest Hotel wedding in Reading, PA fell on a 65 degree day in December. When my assistant, Katie, and I walked into the hotel, it was like a winter wonderland. There were Christmas trees in each room. The tables were decorated beautifully in reds with wreaths. It was the perfect winter wedding, except for the spring like temperature. It was so gorgeous outside that they made a last minute decision to move the ceremony outside! The coordinators and hotel staff were able to make the switch seamlessly and it went off without a hitch. In spite of the outside temperature the fireplace was lit for part of the reception. The fireplace is what made Eilis fall in love with the venue and I agree, it was beautiful. I loved working with Eilis and Ferdinand and meeting their families and friends. I cannot thank them enough for choosing me to capture their wedding day! More photos are available in the video below.
