Brielle & Troy’s Nassau Inn wedding in Princeton, NJ was a true winter wonderland. The couple hoped for snow and they certainly got it…almost 6 inches! It was a little more than they hoped for, but it definitely made for a memorable day. The fresh snow combined with the inn’s unique blend of historic charm and modern style made for the perfect backdrop for photos.
We started the day with Brielle and the girls in the bridal suite at the Nassau Inn Palmer Square. They were all looking gorgeous with hair and makeup done by A Finishing Touch by CG. I busily shot the dress, shoes and other details as everyone watched the falling snow through the window. Brielle received her grandmother’s engagement ring which was such a special moment. Once dressed, we got some bridal portraits before heading to the church.
Troy and his groomsmen were already at the church anxiously awaiting the girls. When the limo arrived, the driver laid out a red carpet for them! He was so sweet; he even offered my assistant and me water and snacks. Brielle and Troy exchanged vows surrounded by their family and friends in the beautiful Church of St Ann. After the ceremony, we took some time for family formals and bridal party portraits in the church.
We then headed back to the Nassau Inn. Brielle and Troy showed no hesitation when I asked if they wanted to go outside for photos. I was so glad they were up for it because Palmer Square was adorned with lighted trees and snow that was just breathtaking. We then brought the bridal party out for a few shots. They were all so great about braving the elements and I think the photos really paid off.
I took some time to shoot the reception room while guests enjoyed cocktail hour. The tables looked flawless with flowers by A Woman’s Touch, as did the beautiful cake by Caketeria. Once the bridal party entered, we knew it was going to be a fun night. Xplosive Entertainment had everyone on the dance floor before dinner was even served.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with Brielle and Troy. Their love and commitment to each other is so evident and I think the photos really show that. I wish them love and happiness in all the years to come and thank them for entrusting their wedding day to me. Please enjoy the highlights from the day in the slideshow below!
