Wow, there is so much to say about Michelle and Howard’s Barn on Bridge Wedding. The entire day was so romantic and full of emotion. They chose to get married on Valentine’s Day. The day began with getting ready in separate quarters at the Barn on Bridge located in Collegeville, PA. Michelle and Howard exchanged Valentines cards and gifts. There were tears and laughter throughout the day. It was easy to see that day was not only about Michelle and Howard, but also a joining of families. It was a fun and beautiful day to capture. It was also about 10 degrees, in the sun. I left the decision to shoot outdoors up to Michelle and Howard. They gave me the green light and we went out for short periods of time. The entire bridal party even went out for some shots. No one resisted at all! You know your bridal party is filled with people that love you when they are willing to take partake in photos in 10 degree weather! The decor they chose was perfect for a Valentine’s wedding with love birds and candy hearts. Great food was served and fun was had by all. My assistant, Katie, and I even were able to take hot chocolate from the candy bar for the cold ride home. Thank you, Michelle and Howard, for allowing me to be a part of your day. It was an honor to capture the love you have for each other and your families. I wish you all the best!

Erin and Burke are truly one of the nicest couples I have ever met. I had such a great time getting to know them and their families since they booked me for their wedding about 10 months ago. I remember at our initial meeting chatting about the possibilities of rain or the intense August heat and humidity. Erin and Burke had the absolute perfect day for their Loch Nairn Golf Club wedding. I was especially worried about the heat for my August weddings, being in my 7th month of pregnancy with my second child. I cannot believe the luck I have had! Erin and Burke’s wedding day went off without a hitch. Burke is a musician and the one thing that he cared about in the planning was having a great band during cocktail hour. The Barbone Street Jazz Band was phenomenal and so much fun! It really set the tone for the rest of the night which was DJ’d by Dana McDonald. The groom even had a wardrobe change, being introduced with the bridal party wearing a white dinner jacket. The reception space was simply and elegantly decorated with florals by Green Meadows Florist and a gorgeous cake by The Master’s Baker. Erin and Burke were so great and flexible to work with, and happy to take some time away from their reception for some golden hour photos. I loved spending the weekend with them and their families for both their wedding and the rehearsal dinner the evening before. I cannot thank the Quinn’s and Johnson’s enough for trusting me to capture such an important time in their lives. Please enjoy the photos and slide show below.
Sarah and Drew’s Hartefeld National wedding in Avondale, Pennsylvania fell on a perfect day in June. The weather was amazing and what a spectacular venue! Hartefeld National is a private golf club with perfect greens and a quintessential Chester County feel. Sarah and Drew were so easy going and great to work with. They were up for anything. Hartefeld was kind enough to provide us with golf carts and free range to shoot anywhere (while being mindful of the golfers). Driving around on the carts with the bridal party for photos was such a blast. This wedding was so much fun, and complete with the funniest best man speech ever. Thank you to Sarah and Drew for allowing me to shoot your wedding and engagement. I loved every minute of working with you and meeting your families. Best wishes!! Caitlin and Andy’s Carriage House at Rockwood Park wedding in Wilmington, Delaware was really something special. First off, the venue they chose was perfect for their vision and the timing. It was a 95 degree day in Wilmington; operation mini personal fans was in full effect. Thankfully the Carriage House at Rockwood Park is fully air conditioned. Once we walked the gorgeous grounds for photos and cocktail hour everyone was cool and comfortable. One of the greatest things about this amazing venue is that it is also the home to The Greenery Caterers, making it almost a one stop shop. The food was fantastic and the cake was almost too pretty to eat. A good time was certainly had by all. During cocktail hour guests played cornhole in the garden while listening to musical duo J2. The reception space was decorated with gorgeous florals by Hoffman Design Group. The party went late into the night, lead by DJ Bob Genovese. It was an honor to shoot this amazing Carriage House at Rockwood Park wedding. I wish Caitlin and Andy all the best. More images can be seen in the slideshow below.
Nina and Max’ West Chester, PA private home wedding was simply one of the most charming weddings I have ever been to. Around every corner was a personal touch that added meaning to the day. The decor was simple, yet well thought out. It was clear that the most important thing to Nina and Max on their wedding day was that their families were being united together. The wedding was held at Nina’s grandparents’ home in the heart of West Chester. Nina’s father explained in his toast really how important the home was to the family. He had proposed to Nina’s mother in the same backyard years before. Nina was very close to her grandfather who had recently passed away. Small reminders of his presence were brought into the wedding, including a model airplane that had been his, as he loved to fly. Every detail was all about family, including the cake, a pound cake from Stock’s Bakery in Philadelphia. Each year the Lentz’ would “stock” up on this famous pound cake and freeze one for every birthday. I did get to have a piece and it really was delicious! This wedding was truly a beautiful collaboration of a wedding and a family gathering. I really think every guest had an amazing time, including the kids who were in the pool the entire night! Congratulations to Nina and Max! Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day! More photos available in the slideshow below.

Yet another perfect Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast wedding this spring! So far 2015 has been a banner year for great wedding day weather (fingers and toes crossed). Erin and Eric’s wedding was no exception and you can’t go wrong with a location like Faunbrook. If you are looking for an wedding venue with an intimate feel for a small group of people, Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast is the way to go! This group may have been small, but this was one of the best groups of party people I have seen. The parlor where dancing takes place, was packed from the minute dinner was over until the time I left. What a celebration! Even though getting photos taken was not Eric’s favorite thing to do, I was able to get Erin and Eric out for a few moments before sunset for some some amazing portraits. I can’t thank Eric enough for being such a great sport, I think the results made it worthwhile. Thank you, Erin and Eric for allowing me to capture the moments of your day! Be sure to take a look at the slideshow at the end for even more highlights!
