Nina and Max’ West Chester, PA private home wedding was simply one of the most charming weddings I have ever been to. Around every corner was a personal touch that added meaning to the day. The decor was simple, yet well thought out. It was clear that the most important thing to Nina and Max on their wedding day was that their families were being united together. The wedding was held at Nina’s grandparents’ home in the heart of West Chester. Nina’s father explained in his toast really how important the home was to the family. He had proposed to Nina’s mother in the same backyard years before. Nina was very close to her grandfather who had recently passed away. Small reminders of his presence were brought into the wedding, including a model airplane that had been his, as he loved to fly. Every detail was all about family, including the cake, a pound cake from Stock’s Bakery in Philadelphia. Each year the Lentz’ would “stock” up on this famous pound cake and freeze one for every birthday. I did get to have a piece and it really was delicious! This wedding was truly a beautiful collaboration of a wedding and a family gathering. I really think every guest had an amazing time, including the kids who were in the pool the entire night! Congratulations to Nina and Max! Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day! More photos available in the slideshow below.
